Thomas Jefferson's Monticello
Jefferson's Monticello is always an intriguing place to visit. This time it was the fish pond which impressed me. Jefferson's slaves would go fishing in the creeks nearby, and transplant the fish they caught to the fish pond so the master and his family and guests could enjoy fresh fish regularly.
