New York State Capitol

New York State Capitol

The New York State Capitol here in Albany was under renovation in the fall of 2003, so I could not get inside, and the scafolding and construction equipment made it difficult to find a vantage point for a good outside shot also. However, reflecting pools nearly always provide good shots, and this one served that purpose fairly well.

Going around to the front of the building helped a little. It is so large you'd have to get a block away to get it all in, and then you'd have cars and other things in the way. It's a huge building.

There was this one pretty tree, though. Wow!
