Kentucky State Capitol
![]() Kentucky's State Capitol is located on the banks of the Kentucky River in Frankfort. If you ask a group of non-Kentuckians what is the capital of Kentucky, 49.5% will say Louisville, 49.5% will say Lexington, and one lone % will say Frankfort. But Frankfort it is, and has been since 1792. ![]() The site, gorgeously landscaped and well taken care of, is beautiful to come upon.
