The story is that many years ago the sign broke, but everyone liked it that way, so they never got it fixed. Makes sense.

August 2007: The other evening some friends and I ate at Tad's. Good meal. It was still light out when we left, so we drove on up the Gorge on the Columbia River Historic Highway. It was a beautiful evening. Here are some of the pics I took.
