Columbia Gorge Discovery Center

Gorge Discovery Center

The Gorge features two interpretive enters: this one west of The Dalles, Oregon, and one west of Stevenson, Washington.

This center has many fine displays, a bookstore and gift shop, etc., and it hosts lectures, videos, and other educational sessions. But the thing that impressed me most was this large room with a shiny Columbia River inlaid in the floor. Creative!
